ABOUT

Maite Astiz (1983), D.O.P. born in Estella, Navarra. Currently works and lives in Barcelona, Madrid and also mobile wherever the project needs her.

Graduated from college ESCIVI (School of Film and Video, Guipuzcoa, 2002), and specialized in cinematography by ESCAC, (Barcelona, 2007), where she studied both, the Degree and the Official Master.

Always curious and restless, her work includes the direction of photography of many commercials for companies as diverse as Nestle, Pull & Bear, Desigual, Font Vella, Argal, Red Bull, Aquarel, Henten, Miró... Fashion films, Music videos , short films like the award-winning "Habitar" (Best Direction Of Photography, XVIII National Shortfilm Contest Ciudad de Astorga), selected in Short film corner of Cannes Film Festival. Her debut feature film is currently in postproduction.
